My art begins with something very simple, a spark of curiosity. A colour I want to pair with another. A texture that feels interesting. A shape that doesn’t yet know where it belongs.
I grew up in an Army family, moving homes and cities every few years. Each place brought new landscapes, new colours, new rhythms. As a child, I was always walking around, collecting leaves, staring at skies, touching textures on walls, asking endless questions. Every new home became a world to explore, and today, that same curiosity drives my art practice.
I’m trained as an architect, which means composition, balance, and spatial harmony are part of how I naturally think. But art is where the playful, bold, sensitive side of me comes alive. It’s where I break rules, try things, follow instinct, and allow colour to lead the way.
I don’t begin with a rigid idea.
I begin with a pull , a feeling.
And I follow it.
My work lives in the space where design meets emotion: in colour interactions, in relationships between forms, in the quiet tension that makes a piece feel alive.
Art is where I express the parts of myself I don’t always show in daily life, boldness, softness, sensitivity, curiosity. If you feel joy, calm, harmony, or even a moment of wonder when you look at my work, then you’re seeing exactly what I feel when I create.
